First and foremost, I love reading your blog.
Second, the photos are beautiful. It makes me homesick just looking at them. (My father and the family live near Chiavari.)
Third, with regard to the pasta maker, I’m pretty sure I have that exact pasta maker with that exact box… probably from 1970s. I’m fairly certain it’s a requirement for every Italian household. Most likely government-mandated.

    • Oh Brianna, you just made my day! Thank you for your sweet comments! Yes, the pasta maker was probably a freebie for every housewife who opened a bank account of her own in the 70’s lol. I have to be honest, I have been neglecting this blog lately…life just kinda gets in the way at times, but have put it on my to do list this summer to get back at it. So, hope you are following to get any new posts. I have taken some really great pics of the sunrises here lately. I get up at 6 a.m, and by 10 I am back in the house with the a/c it has been so freaking hot here! Where do you live now if not Chiavari? Buon estate!

        Ciao Leah,
I’m in the USA now – Northern Nevada working as a nurse. I am heading back to Italy in September/ October and I cannot wait! I read you blog when I can. I understand that life gets busy – especially with an Italian house renovation – yikes! Bureaucracy is an art in Italy. The photo of Coco (Zen?) in the window is spectacular. I look forward to more photos and more blogs. Un abbraccio!

Hi Leah, it’s been a long time since I’ve read your blog and I am just catching up on reading your posts during my holidays. We met a few years ago in Camogli, maybe you remember.
Always funny to see your posts and read comments about italian culture and MIL 😉 I could add a lot as a French living in Italy for sooo many years! And congrats for the new aventure with the B&B!!!

    • Hi Muriel! Yes, I remember, we had an aperitif in Camogli, right? Thank you for continuing to be so supportive! Lots going on here at the moment…but all good! Take care, let me know when you are ever back this way, ciao, Leah x
