Go ahead, take another day, I dare ya

Looks like my husband is leaving Sunday. Yep, that’s right. We were told Monday but then we went online to check the ship’s itinerary. I asked, how can you be on a plane Monday when the ship is in Miami Monday? And there you have it, we just lost another day, BAM!

The good news though, is that he got his flight already and they upgraded him to business class. Turns out being a Captain has some perks 🙂 hmmmm, I wonder what the Captain’s discount is at the onboard shops *smile*

And you know who is going to be sailing for Christmas too. So, although I would have preferred a quiet, cozy Christmas at home, I can’t really complain too much about the possibility of sipping Pina coladas on a sunny beach either.

And the best part is that now no one onboard will outrank us if we want to go ashore, WOOOHOOOOOO!

I suddenly feel like George Jefferson doing the happy dance. MOOOVIN’ On Up!

Wow!! This is an amazing life you lead!! I always wondered, how are the accommodations for the crew and captain? Good luck on your trip!! I love your blog name, it drew me right in!!!!

    • Hi, thanks! 🙂
Accommodations for crew are the size of a small linen closet shared by two and sometimes four 😮
I knew it must be love when we shared a cabin together and we didn’t kill each other when he was a lower ranking officer.
The Captain gets an actual bedroom, and living room and a bath tub too 🙂 I can hardly contain myself with all this upcoming luxury!

Ooh, you lucky thing! I’ll be drinking Glühwein and you’ll be sipping Pina Coladas – whatever ‘jealous’ is in German 🙂
