Here we go again

Sorry for the lack of posting. The weather has been pretty good and like most people, I have tried my best to take advantage of it while I can. I planted some tulips this year and hope that after forking over a lot of Euros for premium bulbs from Holland that the wild boar don’t come in for a tasty snack!

On another note, I have been up to my ears in research. If anyone has any tips on how to write a business plan I’m all ears. I’ve just downloaded the $100 Startup book which was recommended by Michael Hyatt, a blogger and entrepreneur who I have been following for quite some time now. We have already received some positive feedback on our new business adventure to start up a B&B and well, I now have my work cut out for me with getting organized on what is all involved to make it a success.

A former employer of mine just recently packed in her teaching business and opened up her own B&B which I am happy to say looks like a big success! Stefania has a passion for cooking and so who wouldn’t want to stay there? Here is the link to her place if you find yourself in the area:

Meanwhile, I am still teaching. I got a gig at a Public school and well, I have already lost my voice from yelling. These kids have no desks! They have chairs with broken desks and so they sit on the floor to write 😦 It’s going to be another very long season indeed. But, at least I have some goals set for next year and with some hard work and dedication next year I can also pack up my teaching career and give it a ceremonial boot to the door. Now I just need to learn how to cook, haha…I wonder if Stefania gives baking lessons?

Good luck with the BandB. I have stayed in some nice ones and for me the two most essential things I must have in the morning are eggs, preferably scrambled, and coffee.
