Why is it that when I’m in the car driving I can think of 1,000 words to write on my blog and then when I get close to a computer it’s all gone?
Here are some random thoughts that sounded a lot better in my head yesterday…
So Coco now has a collar and leash. Mama thought it would be a great idea for her to go outside and enjoy nature. I tried it and it was kind of cool the way she would walk a few steps and then crouch down close to the ground to get her balance. Then, one day I placed her in a field of grass. A bug jumped on her and Coco freaked out. Well, that was the end of that chapter. I wonder how much I will get on ebay for her fancy collar?
On my flight home I met an American who was coming to Genoa for a conference. I offered some information to him about where to go and how to get there. Grateful for the insights he offered to buy me a coffee. He then proceeded to try and pay with a credit card! Who in the world pays €2,60 bill with a credit card?
See photo of Mayan woman below. She didn’t clear 4′ tall.
#4 UH OH!
I’ve been back six days. There has already been one bus strike and the supermarkets have stopped their silly continuous summer hours and have gone back to their ridiculous winter schedule of closing mid-day for three hours. Ahem, no comment (my dad said they will deport me if I keep dissing Italy, haha).
The moon has been orange and full and bouncing good vibes off the sea from my terrace! Amazing! It has also been sunny and warm…ok, two more points for Italy. Yesterday, I went with friends to Bra, Italy for the wine and cheese festival. I think that scored at least two more points for Italy. (See silly cheese pic below)
I would continue writing but I have to get back in the car and drive all the way back to the supermarket cuz it should be open again from 3:30-5:30!
For those authorities that shall remain nameless, please don’t deport me, living here is way too much fun to poke fun at and I would have to close down my blog and then my dad would have to find something else to pick on me about 🙂
