Wow! I just saw that this blog has hit past the 80,000 mark in my stats. When did that milestone happen and how the heck did I miss it? I recently saw a blog that was soliciting to reach 500 likes on their Facebook page, and I was thinking, crap, I think I have something like 26 likes, haha.
It’s not that I don’t care that you like me or not, I do, I do care. But it’s summertime and I have been kinda busy napping. Coco seems to support this fully and well, she is after all my #2 fan (my dad is #1).
So what’s new around here…lets see.
The boar seem to have tired of me and I haven’t had to shovel poop for a week. But…I am cat-sitting, so it’s not like I am getting a big poop break! In fact, one cat prefers to leave her offerings in the center of the floor. Coco of course can smell the offense miles away and that’s when the sand flies. Literally! She seems to want to make an effort to cover up that awful smell. Bless her 🙂
Again, this all happens while I am sleeping. I get up early in the morning to see what all the fuss is about and spend the next 30 minutes cleaning up. And you call this Ferragosto?
Oh that? Yeah, Ferragosto is when every friggin’ Italian on the planet decides not to work. Every August the cities roll up their sidewalks and everyone heads to the beach or the mountains. You can’t get anything done so don’t even bother trying. Oh, you have to renew your car insurance? Sorry, we’re closed, come back next month. Doctor appointment? Are you kidding me? Oh, your Passport is expired, bahahahahaha. And so on and so on.
I just woke up from my nap and I’m so happy it rained today. Now I can take the day off from watering the plants. See, I really am turning into an Italian after all.
If you can’t beat ’em, might as well join ’em.
