In the neighbourhood


 I live in a pretty nice area of town and there’s a Funiculare that runs through the center of my neighbouhood. On lazy days I take it up the hill and walk back down only because it’s easier when you’re tired or carrying heavy bags. This is a photo of the passageway I must go under because the tracks are above. You can see in the banner where the red car is passing by on the tracks.

I also wanted to point out the San Martino Hospital.

I wish I could say that these statues were supposed to be black but they are just very dirty! I tried to Google some better photos of the hospital grounds but ended up just hiking up there myself and taking a few. It’s an interesting place and there’s even a city bus that takes you from building to building because it’s sprawled across a hill in all directions. Here are just a few of the residents…I will post more this week, promise.
