Believe it or not that was our wedding song by Tom Jones!
As you can imagine, having a brand new kitten around the house can be quite exhausting. Coco has now finally decided to curl up next to my computer for a nap instead of hogging the keyboard and changing all my settings! Although last night I played with her to tire her out she was still above my head at 3 am swatting at my head to wake up play some more. If it weren’t for her razor-sharp claws and teeth I actually might have found this to be a bit of fun, but instead I have the scratches to prove who won the battle. She seems to like sharing my pillow and I use the term sharing loosely only because she is still quite small, but what’s going to happen when she gets bigger and the pillow doesn’t?
I really do feel like a new mom with unbrushed hair and a frazzled expression while I try to cover up every electric wire and brush my teeth with a baby trying to climb up my pant leg…I’ve decided it’s easier just to hold her in one arm and brush with the other! She seems to like licking my face, my ears, my lips and up my nose! Who knew kittens were so strange?
This post will be short and sweet because obviously I’ve got my hands a bit full at the moment. But FYI the depression is lifting…could it be Coco or the drugs? I vote for Coco.
Hugs to all…
