For some reason I do most of my thinking in the car. Probably not great for the other drivers but hey at least I’m not smoking, texting and listening to my iPod while driving a scooter! Anyways, I usually keep a pen and pad of paper nearby for such occasions because by the time I reach my destination those ideas flow out the window at 5o km/hour. (btw I do pull over to write this stuff down…I’m not one of those writers that is manic for the sake of creativity)
One thought I had after freshly pressing my post about the flu shot was this: If the Italians start to follow America’s example how will they decide which stores will be the lucky ones to administer these magic flu shots I wonder? I mean if it takes 2 nurses and a doctor to take blood samples in this country how in the heck will they ever decide how many people (preferably government employed) will they need to hang out in front of the local McDonald’s sipping a frozen cappuccino waiting for some unsuspecting soul to agree to a flu shot.
I can see it now…all across Europe the catch phrase of “do you want fries with that?” will be replaced with “do you want a flu shot with that?”
