6 more weeks right?

I swear my students got one sniff of Spring and they have all lost their tiny little Italian brains. Half the class didn’t bother to bring pencils while the other half forgot their books!

So, whilst I make photocopies for the negligent ones and hunt for extra pencils they can goof off in the classroom. Six more weeks I am thinking, and then we are done. Lessons will wrap up-end of May more or less and with every week that passes I am thinking how will I ever get through these last few lessons without pummeling the little darlings?

I always knew that having patience was not one of my strong points so I can’t help but laugh at the irony that is my life. I live in a country that takes 2 years to process a permission to stay, 7 years to get a divorce and from what I can tell, 12 years or more if you have any sort of legal issues with your neighbours! And then, to top it all off the only job I am qualified for is an English teacher to half-sized Italians who make fun of my accent.

Yep, patience is definitely a virtue. Does anyone know where I can get some???
