I know I am being horrible, but I can’t help but laugh at the irony. The other night my husband finished washing up the dishes and in comes Mama with her dirty bowl and cutlery…earlier in the day he was talking to her and the conversation got heated. He came into the bedroom and said “oh, she is so impossible and frustrating”. Again, I just smiled and said “really?”
We have finally set-up house in the country for a break from Mama. This week the school is closed and I only had one lesson. Just to give you an idea of how time slips away here, we have no phone (except for mobiles) and no cable or satellite tv and no Internet (until now that is). On Tuesday, I had a lesson in the city. I left early in the day to take care of some tasks including grocery shopping. That’s when my husband called to inform me that the clocks changed on the weekend and that I have just lost an hour in my day! Only because he spoke to his mom did he find this information out…otherwise I would have been late for my lesson.
Needless to say, being in the country and away from Mama has been just what the doctor ordered. The peace and quiet is priceless. We have had a fantastic full moon reflecting on the sea and all the Spring flowers are starting to bloom. You can see my new header photo with my prized tulips in full colour. I planted those tulip bulbs in 2005 so it’s a real treat to see them bloom year after year.
So, to all my readers I would like to wish you a Buona Pasqua…Happy Easter and may there be many chocolate easter eggs in your future : )
