Well the fact that I am writing this blog post is probably a pretty good indication that my computer has survived my raging frustration for yet another day. Yesterday I finally braved the task and loaded 7.0. It took me all day and 2 attempts and a lot of choice swear words but I finally did it.
I’m not exactly sure why, but for some reason the DVD’s decided to switch over from English instructions to Italian half way through which only added to my misery. Now, I must reload iTunes…which I am guessing is because this software is a Mac/Apple application and those pesky Microsoft people decided to punish me for having it on my system at all! I have a few choice words to go along with that but I will spare you.
It’s raining very hard today so I decided to reload iTunes in lieu of going to Italian school (yes, I make a horrible student). In my defense, I spent the better part of last night dining with my husband’s Italian friends and so I think I got a verbal and listening exercise all rolled into one over seafood, wine and foccaccia bread!
Oddly enough, the more wine I drank the more I understood what the heck everyone was saying. So my new motto is this: Drink more wine and the world will start to make more sense! Va bene, no?
