Connecting through Art

Recently I have noticed a weird spike in my blog stats. For those of you who don’t know what the heck I’m talking about, it’s how many people read my blog everyday. It seems that about every 2 weeks I get a surge of over 80 readers! Pretty cool, but what’s interesting to me is that I seldom know who those 80 people are or where they are coming from.

But, occasionally, I also get emails from my readers which just thrills me to no end. I love the fact that I can connect with someone an ocean away and make new friends where I never thought possible. I want to take this opportunity to introduce Chrissandra. We don’t know each other, but she has stumbled upon my blog and emailed me her encouragement.

A fellow Canadian, Chrissandra is from the West coast. We have never met, but in this shrinking world we live in there is no limit to our possibilities of meeting in the somewhat distant future. In the meantime, I have had the pleasure of visiting her blog and seeing for myself what this girl is made of. And I can tell you, I am quite impressed!  This talented artist has her own blog and website. I scanned her art and love her use of bold colours. Her art feels alive and fun and so it is that I happily add this post to my own blog and encourage you to check out this talented lady:

    Hi!

I found your blog yesterday and was laughing so hard, my eyes were tearing. My situation is somewhat similar to yours so I am relating big time.

Am currently in Italy until mid-May. Look forward to more of your posts. Though, it would only be fair to share some of my stories just so you can see you are not alone.

    Best regards, Leah.

  3. Hi, thanks for the support!
    Where in Italy are you?
